Whispering In The Trees, Can You Hear?

Arguably the best speaker at the Intertwined reception was young Ian Gough who turned eleven on Saturday.  This is his poem....

The Kopachuck Woods

As you walk into the woods
you feel as free as the wind.
If you stop, you hear the firs rustling
as if whispering to each other.

Each of them seem the same, but not.

As you look, you see the differences
like you see the personalities in people.
The trees will be hard to leave
but they will always be remembered.
