Intertwined: Kopachuck trees still soar

What are we doing?

Outreach to the arts community was initiated by Pat Lantz, WA State Parks Commissioner, in response to the pending removal of trees in Kopachuck Park that are afflicted with laminated root rot and pose a danger to life and property. Artists are called to draw, paint, photograph, write about, or otherwise memorialize the trees. (the park is currently open for day use) Creative work produced for this project will be exhibited at the Harbor History Museum in a show called, Intertwined, Requiem for the Trees.
